Are pop tarts bought from mecca's bin dawood halal?

I recently went to saudi arabia and was surprised to find Kellogg's pop tarts on the shelves in bin dawood supermarket, considering they have gelatin and are imported. the boxes do not carry a halal label, however it has got an added sticker with ingredients in arabic which is no use to me. thinking they are halal i bought a few boxes after asking the store assistant who said everything in the store was halal. however i'm reluctant to eat them, could someone please give me some clarification. much appreciated.
